Bangladesh’s former footballer and BNP leader Aminul Haque was released on bail


Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP member secretary and former Bangladeshi Footballer Aminul Haque has been released on bail after serving three months and six days in prison. He was released from Kashimpur jail on Thursday (February 8) after being granted bail in all 12 cases against him.


On Friday (February 9), Aminul Haque’s release from prison was announced by his elder brother Moinul Haque.


He told Daily Topnatch that Aminul Haque is physically ill. He will have to undergo treatment for some time.


On November 2 of last year, Aminul Haque was arrested by the law and order forces from Gulshan-2 area. He was arrested and sent to jail in 12 cases filed in different police stations in connection with the clash with the police in connection with the BNP’s mass meeting in Dhaka on October 28.
