Imran Khan will decide the Prime Minister of Pakistan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan will decide who will be the Prime Minister of Pakistan. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar said this in a press conference on Saturday (February 10). Pakistan’s media reported the Express Tribune.

 

Claiming a majority in Pakistan’s national elections on Thursday, PTI said it won 170 seats in the National Assembly. The party is in a very strong position.

Pakistan’s Parliament National Assembly elections were held on Thursday, February 8. The total number of parliamentary seats in the country is 266. All but one of these constituencies have gone to polls.

 

It is reported that even after 45 hours of voting, the full results have not been released yet. Results of 252 constituencies are known. Independent candidates of Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaaf (PTI) won 99 seats there. Nawaz Sharif-led Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) won 71 seats. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari won 53 seats. Results of 13 constituencies are still to be declared
