Hamilton and Ocon to Start Azerbaijan GP from Pit Lane

Sports News: Lewis Hamilton and Esteban Ocon will both start the Azerbaijan Grand Prix from the pit lane after their teams opted for significant power unit changes. Hamilton, who had qualified in seventh place, will begin the race from the pit lane due to Mercedes installing a new engine and other components in his car. This decision was made to ensure better performance and reliability for the remainder of the season.

Similarly, Esteban Ocon of Alpine will also start from the pit lane after his team decided to replace multiple elements of his power unit. Ocon had a challenging qualifying session, ending up at the back of the grid, which prompted the team to make these changes.

These penalties mean that other drivers will move up the starting grid, including Lando Norris, who will now start from 15th position. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix, known for its unpredictable nature and opportunities for overtaking, promises an exciting race as Hamilton and Ocon aim to climb up the order from their pit lane starts.
