A joint force team arrested a Jubo Dal leader in Burichong, Comilla. Early on Friday morning, October 25, Kamal Hossain, the convener of the Burichong Sadar Union Jubo Dal—locally known as “Fensi Kamal”—was detained in the Jagatpur area of Sadar Union. The arrest was confirmed by Burichong Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azizul Haque.

Alongside Kamal, two others, Delwar Hossain and Sardul Islam, were also detained, and the team seized 210 yaba tablets from their possession.

OC Azizul Haque reported that early in the morning, joint forces apprehended two individuals with 210 yaba tablets. During interrogation, the detainees revealed that they had obtained the drugs from Kamal Hossain. Subsequently, the joint forces arrested Kamal as well. Following legal proceedings, all three were sent to jail later that afternoon.

Police sources indicated that Kamal Hossain has multiple previous drug-related cases against him.
